About

Regulate. Remember. Realign.

Living a life of joy, abundance and purpose is your birthright.

When you're hijacked by the hormones of stress, it becomes increasingly difficult to think clearly, give space for your true desires and feelings, or to make a lasting change. Your true needs are covered underneath your current coping mechanisms. If we focus on treating these mechanisms, whether it's keeping yourself busy, overthinking, overeating, self-judgement, or any other type of addictive behavior, we are treating the symptom, not the real problem.

Learning to understand and regulate your stress response and your emotions creates the space to reach clarity, connect with your authentic self, and make conscious choices that shape and create your reality.

This work brings together nervous system regulation, honest check-in with yourself, inner work to raise your level of consciousness, and deep soul searching through self-reflection, meditation, somatic and trauma-informed practices, and intuitive coaching.

My driving force is to break the pattern of women feeling chronically exhausted, drained, and disconnected from their power, never reaching their full potential. Just because of years and decades of trying to fit into a system that wasn't built for us in the first place.

My greatest wish is that you find your way back home to yourself, so that you can start living the life you are truly meant for.

Approach

Lasting transformation does not happen by only working on mindset.
It happens when your body, mind and soul start working together.

I specialize in helping women understand, feel and regulate their emotions so they can reconnect with their truth and create meaningful change. I'm not here to give you the answers, but the guide you to the answers that are already within you.

In our work together, we focus on lasting transformation from inside out by:

  • Regulating and soothing the nervous system

  • Reconnecting with the body and intuition

  • Exploring identity and life transitions on a deeper subconscious level

  • Creating supportive lifestyle shifts that feel realistic and aligned

Rather than fixing - because there's never anything wrong with you - my approach helps you listen to the wisdom already within you: your body, your emotions, and your own truth. We use guiding questions, meditation, visualization and somatic tools such as beginner-friendly breathwork for reprogramming from stress and survival to ease and flow.

Sessions are integrative and intuitive, taking into account your current life situation and intentions for a brighter future. For those who wish, I also incorporate basic Human Design and astrology as supportive tools as an add-on service.

My Story

Marianna Tuulia Ahonen Women's Wellbeing Coach Outdoors

I believe that taking the time to remember who you truly are is one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself in this lifetime.

My path into this work began long before any formal training.

I grew up in peaceful Finland, in a beautiful place surrounded by nature, but with severe allergies, health challenges (asthma, gut issues) and hypersensitivity. I figured I couldn't to trust my body as I feared allergic reactions. I experienced life intensely, without much understanding of how to work with the deep emotional and physical sensations I was experiencing. The world seemed like an exciting but at the same time unsafe place. Sitting at the doctor's, I learned to look outside of myself for answers and solutions.

As a teenager, I took my first steps outside my introvert bubble, and found great joy and empowerment in dancing. Soon after, I was encouraged to start teaching classes after school. Dancing and studying were both my sources of joy as well as opportunities for my loud inner critic to list what I needed to improve to be perfect, and two decades of body image issues and disordered eating started, which I hid from everyone. I carried so much shame from a young age. Perfectionism and desire for external validation became familiar ways to soothe my inner child's longing for acceptance and affection, leading to unhealthy intimate relationships, and other unhealthy choices in general. On top of all of the hormonal changes in puberty, I was recommended to start taking hormonal birth control at age 15, which took me to a 10-year-journey of disconnecting from my body even more.

For years (and still counting), I searched for answers, trying to understand my emotions, my body, and my place in the world. A high school exchange year in Italy at 16 was the first break of the pattern that ignited my call for adventure. In a completely new environment, navigating a new language and a new culture, I realized I could be whoever I chose to be. That my identity wasn't fixed. And I began discovering a more empowered version of myself. At age 19, I moved to Costa Rica, where a profound experience of oneness brought me into a different relationship with the world around me. Nature, nourishing fresh food, yoga, Latin culture and salsa dancing became some of the first tools through which I started to feel more connected to myself.

At 23, my personal exploration began to become professional. I got to work for one of Finland's leading stress-management experts in the retreat industry, learning the latest research and tools for nervous system regulation at the time. This experience gave me a formative insight into recovery and holistic wellbeing, and I completed my first yoga teacher training (RYT200).

I later went back to Costa Rica to work at a conscious festival, studied in Peru for 6 months, and lived over a year in Easter Island, before eventually making Barcelona home in 2019. By then, I had noticed a pattern, and it kept reappearing. Whether I was working in the wellness industry, hospitality, or corporate, I'd find women on the edge of burnout, living with autoimmune diseases, people-pleasing and over-committing, myself included, and I started asking questions.

I became even more interested in what shapes our habits, behaviors and choices. Now I wasn't binging food like in the past, I was binging information. Podcasts and online courses at x2 speed. Hungry for knowledge and figuring it out. I read the books, sat hundreds of hours in meditation during Buddhist silent retreats, got certified as a women's health and lifestyle coach by Dr Mindy Pelz, and continued studying unlimited human potential in person with Dr Joe Dispenza at retreats. For more than 15 years, I've immersed myself in bridging ancient wisdom, trauma awareness, mind-body connection, subconscious patterns, women's hormonal health, and the deeper exploration of identity and purpose.

There's much, much more to the story. But today, I do my best to bring these threads together into a holistic approach to inner work and women's wellbeing that begins with something fundamental: recognizing our triggers (stress and trauma responses), learning to self-regulate when anxiety hits, changing on an
identity level, reconnecting to our intuition, our innate wisdom.

From there, we begin to hear ourselves again.
We question what we have inherited.
What we have been conditioned to believe.
And we realize what no longer feels true.
And we remember who we've came here to be.

It's not about adding more, it's about releasing what's blocking you.

It'll be an honor to walk this path together.
